When I showed my furry editor-in-chief, Kimi, the selfie I wanted to use for my profile, she expressed the concern that it could cause my blog to be immediately taken down for posting horrifying and obscene material without an audience filter. Thanks, Kimi, for your honest and detailed feedback on the appearance of my face. 😒 However, Kimi and I share the same facial expression roughly 90% of the time, so she has graciously allowed me to use her picture in place of my own. There is no denying it: this is deceptive content. She is much prettier than I am. But this is not a dating site, so I probably won't get booted for it.
Beyond my unfortunate appearance, I am the raging liberal atheist feminist your parents warned you about. A favorite Pin of mine on Pinterest reads, "Your beliefs don't make you an intelligent person. The formation of your beliefs based on evidence and the ability to change your beliefs based on new evidence do." I take this saying seriously, and approach all subjects with an open and questioning mind. I take pride in being a rationalist, which means I am always open to changing my beliefs when the evidence warrants it. With that in mind, feel free to comment, even if you disagree with a post! Make a persuasive enough argument, and you may just change my mind. I hope you are similarly intelligent and rational, and likewise open to changing your mind if my evidence warrants it.
Beyond that, I like orchids and cats and also other plants and other animals. They may periodically show up in my "Random" topics. Especially orchids. And cats.
